About us

The Environmental Protection Administration, Taiwan (EPAT) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) initiated the International Environmental Partnership (IEP) in Taipei, Taiwan in 2014. The IEP is an international platform that engages experts to work on various pressing, widespread, and more complex environmental challenges. It aims to be an international network where best practices in environmental management and green technologies can be exchanged.

Since its establishment, the IEP has successfully connected countries in the Asia Pacific region through many of its programs, such as those for groundwater and soil remediation, environmental law enforcement, electronic waste management, mercury monitoring, air quality control, and environmental education.
